AGTA is extremely pleased to present the 38th volume of our journal, Geographical Education, representing the edition for 2025. We would like to thank all who have contributed to the edition, whether through submitting an article or in providing a book review.
The 2025 edition of Geographical Education offers a deep dive into the evolving landscape of geography teaching in Australia. This volume is essential reading for educators looking to bridge the gap between academic theory and high-impact classroom practice.
In this edition:
Our journal continues to reinforce the vital role of geography in equipping students with the critical thinking and agency needed to navigate the challenges of the Anthropocene, and how important quality research is in supporting teaching and learning.
We continue to invite submissions to the journal. Details on how to contribute can be found on page 2 of the journal.
AGTA would like to acknowledge the continued work of Professor Jeana Kriewaldt in compiling and editing our journal. It is a tremendous commitment, through which our profession continues to benefit. Thank you!
