2024 Conference

AGTA 2024 – A Sense of Place – saw the conference hosted in the Northern Territory for the very first time. 100 delegates from around Australia were able to explore the unique physical and human geographies of the Top End,

28-30 September 2022

2022 Conference

The AGTA 2022: The Active Geographer Conference was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hobart from Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 September 2022. The program included keynote speakers, plenary sessions, workshops and fieldwork as well as a special welcome at Government House, gala dinner and social activities.

1-4 October 2019

2019 Conference

The AGTA 2019: The Innovative Geographer Conference was held at the Gold Coast between Tuesday 1st and Friday 4th October 2019. The program included keynote speakers, masterclasses, workshops and fieldwork that focused on innovation in digital and spatial technologies, curriculum, pedagogy and expert content knowledge.
