We invite all creators of resources to participate in the 2024 AGTA Awards
The Australian Geography Teachers’ Association Awards are given biennially for products of Australian origin associated with the teaching of Geography in schools.
Many products are published to assist teachers and students in the delivery and learning of geography across Australia. AGTA actively encourages the development of high-quality resources through our awards. The awards allow us to express our confidence in the work of publishers who produce a large variety of engaging and relevant products, and we encourage publishers to select suitable resources for consideration as worthy recipients across the AGTA Award categories.

The closing date for entries to the AGTA Awards is Monday 1 July 2024.
The award winners receive a citation bearing the emblem of AGTA. Winners may display this emblem as the association’s endorsement of the product.
The awards will be presented at the 2024 Australian Geography Teachers Association conference in Darwin, to be held in October.
