Join us for a global celebration of Geography!
The Australian Geography Teachers Association is excited to support GeoNight, an international celebration of geography on 12 April 2024.
We are planning an online webinar, ‘Around the world in 60 minutes‘, to support this fantastic global initiative.

Our contribution to GeoNight is a free, online event with three speakers: Assoc. Prof. Alaric Maude (Australia), Dr Emma Rawlings-Smith (England) and Dr Susan Pike (Ireland). Each will present a lightning talk to showcase the importance of thinking geographically and engaging with place-based education. Their presentations are based on their recent publications.
We look forward to seeing you on Zoom for what we are sure will be an interesting and thought-provoking event.
