AGTA 2026: Ignite, Shine, Act

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2026 conference of the Australian Geography Teachers Association, which will be held in Canberra for the first time since the 1970s!

At this stage we are setting up our processes for seeking sponsorships, calling for presenters and registration and we hope to roll these out over the coming weeks and months.

However, we do have dates and a venue! The conference will be held from September 30 to October 2 2026, and will be hosted at the iconic Shine Dome, in Acton, Canberra, ACT.
