AGTA 2026 done and dusted!
A fantastic event in Canberra!
The AGTA 2026 conference in Canberra concluded last week, and the inaugural Canberra conference was a great success. Delegates from across Australia engaged in high quality professional learning aligned with the conference theme: Ignite, Shine, ACT! We are grateful to all the attendees, sponsors, exhibitors and presenters, with particular thanks to our keynote speakers Emeritus Professor Iain Hay who ignited much discussion with the tagline “Geography: the Science of Place” and Emeritus Professor Mark Howden AC continued to push us to act in the interests of climate change.
We look forward to sharing a fuller report of the event in due course, but would like to present a few photos from the fieldwork.
We hope to see you all at the next conference, venue and date to be confirmed!
