Geographical Education, Volume 39, 2026

Ignite, Shine, Act

Following from the 2026 conference on Ignite, Shine, Act, we are pleased to provide you with Volume 39 of Geographical Education which explores the conference theme in more detail. We would like to thank everyone involved in putting together this edition. In order to share the fantastic work of our contributors as soon as we can, we are publishing the articles as they are ready. Please check back regularly to see additional articles.

We hope you find this edition stimulating. Our journal reinforces the value of geographical education for all Australian students, backed by quality research and academic rigour. We continue to invite submissions to the journal.

As always, AGTA would like to acknowledge the commitment of Professor Jeana Kriewaldt in compiling and editing the journal. Her support – not just to Geographical Education – is of significant value to our association and to teachers and educators across Australia.
